The
event will be graced by thousands of Sadhus from all over India, who will be
given alms and duly honoured. Public attendance could run to hundreds of
thousands, with continuous bhajans, kirtan, and langar featuring over the three
days.
All
Sabhas, Sangats, other Organisations, and members of the public are cordially

spiritual event, vigorously. Please therefore place copies of this notice in
appropriate locations.
Sahib Shri, Shri, 108 Sat Guru Gian Nath Ji Maharaj was born in a Valmiki family, and
was a pure devotee, worshipper, and promoter of Bhagwan Valmik Ji Maharaj. Sat
Guru Ji’s popularity amongst all communities, and individuals from all walks
of life who sought his blessings was a testament to his pure, life and highly
evolved spirituality.
Our
community owes a great debt to Sat Guru Ji’s intuition and illumination of
mind, which brought insights to the Valmiki community, about the teachings of
Bhagwan Valmik Ji Maharaj. This has uplifted the Valmiki community, giving
today’s Valmiki’s lives honour and meaning. Sat Guru Ji was a benefactor to
humanity.
Sat
Guru Ji attained utter harmony, standing face to face with reality and things in
their pure nakedness and subtlety. Thus discovering the truth which lies beyond
the reach of thought and sense. He amplifies the limitations of man’s knowledge
and experience.
Sat
Guru Ji Maharaj came to the ancient site known as Ram Tirath during the period
of the British Raj. Historically, this is one the most fascinating places in
northern India, and also one of its most ancient and legendary sites in the
Punjab. Bhagwan Valmik Ji Maharaj wrote his celebrated epic, the Ramayana, at
this hallowed site of "Amrit". It was here, too, that Sita stayed
during the period of her vanavasa (banishment). Here again, the sons of Lord
Rama, were taught by Bhagwan Valmik Ji Maharaj and this is where the whole of
Lord Rama's army was destroyed by them, (Lava and Kusa); and restored to life by
Bhagwan Valmik Ji Maharaj's amrit.
Initially
Sat Guru Ji was not allowed on the site, as local Brahmins were in control of
it. However through his determination and perseverance Sat guru Ji
single-handedly reclaimed the site for the Valmiki community. Sat Guru Ji
suffered great hardships in the course of achieving this result including being
falsely imprisoned with forty - five other sadhus. However the grace of Bhagwan
Valmik Ji was present with him at all times, and as a result he was released
from prison and able to succeed in his task, to bring dignity and recognition to
the Valmiki community throughout the world.
Sat
Guru Ji’s greatest accomplishment was his propagation of the name of Bhagwan
Valmik Ji Maharaj, through Asia and Europe, which uplifted the Valmiki
community. It gave us the confidence, self–respect and motivation to uphold
the name of Bhagwan Valmik Ji Maharaj.
As you
will be aware this Mossha will be the first of its kind to take place within the
modern Valmiki Community, therefore I must stress the importance of this rare
event. The event will be costly so please consider this to be a request for
contributions from your Sabhas, the Valmiki community, and the public. All
donations, large, or small would be most appreciated.
We do
hope you can support this auspicious event both by attending and/or offering
financial assistance.
Should
you require more information please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the
other members.
Yours
truly,
