This information was collated in
response to the increasing number of young Valmikis being brought up in
Britain. It is hoped that this will keep them in touch with their roots,
by providing an insight into the culture and traditions of Valmikis.
Although designed with teenagers in mind, one wishes that it would also
be useful to people of all ages and backgrounds. Wolverhampton Association for
Valmik Education (WAVE) is a small group of people who wish to develop
greater awareness within the community about our identity. The group has
aspirations for further short and long term targets which it hopes to
achieve by active and co-operative contact with local and national
organizations. Woverhampton Valmik Sabha would also like to take this opportunity to thank the following people for their commitment and contribution to ensuring that the traditions and culture were promoted amongst the community: THE LATE KAILA RAM THAPER BUJA RAM NAHAR THE LATE NAJAR RAM SAHOTA
